No — that's the main advantage. Silicone restoration installs over your existing single-ply, BUR, or metal roof after cleaning, repair, and primer. You avoid landfill costs and tenant disruption.

How long will it last?

Most installs come with a 10, 15, or 20-year manufacturer warranty depending on mil thickness. The system is fully restorable at the end of warranty — apply a recoat and the warranty resets.

Will it handle ponding water?

Yes. Silicone is the most ponding-water-tolerant restoration coating on the market — that's why it's our default for flat roofs that don't drain perfectly.

Is it Title 24 / cool-roof compliant?

Yes. White silicone meets Title 24 cool-roof requirements and is rated by the CRRC for solar reflectance and thermal emittance.

1. Surface Prep
Diamond grind, shot blast, or abrasive blast to ICRI/SSPC profile. Crack repair, joint detail, and substrate moisture testing.
2. Primer & Build
Manufacturer-spec primer applied at recorded DFT, followed by build coats matched to your traffic, chemical, and thermal load.
3. Finish & Detail
Topcoat, broadcast aggregate, cove base, and transitions installed to spec — with documented mil thickness throughout.
4. QC & Closeout
Pull-off adhesion testing, photo documentation, manufacturer letters, and warranty paperwork delivered at completion.
